So, before we decide if we are going to try ivf again I’m getting some blood work done to check my hormone levels. If they are ok, we will probably move forward. If not, we’ll move on to something else.

This bloodwork has to be done on the 3rd day of my period, which, because I’m still breastfeeding, comes every … once in a while. Suddenly. And without warning.

Being that I’m waiting for mother nature to show up and tell me what father time has to say about my future, I can think of nothing else.

Let the great IVF waiting game begin!

First the waiting for the period. Then the results. Then. Possibly. The appointments. Then the religiously timed shots. Then the egg quality worries. The retrievel date. The ferilization rate. The cell growth rate. The transfer date. The horrible two week wait!!

Why do I want to do this to myself again??!?

While waiting, I am doing my best to clear out the wine cellar! Would hate to have any of those Oregon pinots go to waste!!
